NSBHS 1961 - 2001 40 Year Celebrations / Reunion The Organising Committee has meet and agreed; Saturday Dinner: We will have a nice dinner on a Saturday night (old boys only), Sunday Lunch and Afternoon: A simple lunch and afternoon sojourn on Sunday - partners may attend but this is neither encouraged or discouraged, it being felt that some partners would not be interested. Tentative Dates: 1st Choice Sat/Sun 20/21 Oct 2nd Choice Sat/Sun 27/28 Oct If we can't get suitable venues for these dates we may revert to 15 or 22 Sep (before school hols). Venues: As yet undecided and being investigated; For Dinner, basically a nice, carpeted (!) place on lower N Shore or city if parking OK. For Lunch, we are looking at a number of options. There would be a basic lunch/BBQ with BYO; 1 a club with some outdoor area, eg, Mosman Rowers 2 the School 3 an outdoor venue, eg, Lane Cove NP or Quarantine Station When some suitable options are confirmed the OC will propose a package. We could probably (?) put some options to an email vote but the tussle last night between the autocrats and the democrats did not resolve this. Fortunately our two learned colleagues could not make it last night otherwise we might have been there all night ("tug me forelock, yer Honour, no offence meant"). So, please note the dates, and we will keep you posted. The OC meets in another 4 weeks and we may have a final format then. I suppose any queries at this stage should come to me (see below) but when we do make final arrangements Ron Witton will be sending the invites and Barry Silverton will probably be taking the bookings. And yes, a prerequisite to your attendance is your bio, a la those we have been entertained with recently. No bio, no function for you.
